I bought this scrath tree for my ragdoll baby boy and its the best purchase I have ever made! I bought the extra "thick" poles. I cant praise this tree enough. It was a favourite from day 1. My ragdoll loves to sleep on the hammocks, and they are large enough to fit my growing cat, so no limbs are left hanging outside the hammock, which was my goal when I was looking for a scratch tree. It's difficult to find good scrathing trees that are able to support a large cat in the 20 lbs range! (i.e adult ragdoll males, maine coons etc)

The quality of the this tree is outstanding from every point of view. While I was looking around for different scrath trees I found that a lot of the lower quality trees with tiny shelves, were even more expensive than petfun's JOY! The price of this high quality scrath tree makes this purchase a bargain!

This tree is made to last!

Due to a mistake in addressing we had to wait quite a long time until our scratch tree arrived. But it was worth waiting! The quality is super, I can't say anything else. Really stable, even though we ordered it with the standard poles. Very heavy too, especially when you can't wait until your hubby comes home and you put it together alone :-D

I love it to have a scratch tree where it is possible to wash the fabric elements. That was what I was also looking for when we needed a new one as our old scratch tree was done after 14 years.

Our 4 cats had to snif and rediscover this scratch tree first but now they use it just as much as the old one. And that means almost all the time there is some furry creature in it. They also love the high poles so they can stretch all the way up to scratch.

I expect this one to live at least 14 years too and the heavy quality makes me to believe that. Beside that this scratch tree is a nice piece of furniture in our living room. The cats love it to sleep in and we love it to look at :-) In that perspective it's not expensive at all! (Posted on 7/15/09)
